Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make River Region Vision Source the leading provider of vision care products and services in Millbrook.


Bryan T. Holman, O.D.

Doc BDr. Bryan Holman – our Custom Contact Lens and Nightlens Specialist – graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He graduated with honors in his respective degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before going on to complete his doctor of optometry degree at UAB School of Optometry.

Dr. Holman purchased what is now River Region Vision Source (previously Millbrook Eye Care) in 2012.  He acquired Dr. Harriett Foshee’s optometry office located in downtown Greenville during the latter part of 2020.  With two locations to serve the River Region, he is excited to help with eye care needs of the respective cities and surrounding communities.  Dr. Holman works with patients of all ages and has a special interest in specialty contact lenses for keratoconus, myopia management via NightLens OrthoK, glaucoma, and dry eye disease.  He is very excited to offer specialized pediatric eye care services with his Little Eyes Center!

James Jones, O.D.

Dr. James JonesDr. James Jones grew up in the river region and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2013, where he studied Spanish and Chemistry. Dr. Jones earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 2017 and has practiced all over north and central Alabama, providing care to both English and Spanish-speaking patients. He is excited to be back home joining the team at River Region Vision Source to provide care for the community where his appreciation for optometry began.

Dr. Jones’ interests include accommodative disorders, specialty contact lenses, and anterior segment disease. Outside of optometry his interests include recording music, aviation, and spending time with family.


Sarah Vrotsos, O.D.

Dr. Vrotsos grew up in several places across the country, including Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Cleveland, Ohio, and Buffalo, New York. She eventually settled in Fontana, California and graduated from Summit High School in 2009. She attended the California State Polytechnic University- Pomona and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.

While at Cal Poly, she was the Vice President of the Pre-Optometry Club for two years, and was also an active member of both the Tri-Beta Honor Society and the Golden Key Honor Society. She then went on to attend the Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, Tennessee, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2017 with a Doctorate of Optometry degree. While attending SCO, she met her husband, Dr. James Jones O.D, who is from Prattville, Alabama.

Dr. Vrotsos values independent healthcare that is carefully tailored to meet each patient’s unique, individual needs. She has strong interests in primary care, contact lenses, pediatrics, and disease with an emphasis in personalized care, technological advances, and community outreach. Outside of optometry, her interests include hiking, cooking, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

 


Mrs. Heatherlynne Clark, CPOA

Practice Administrator

Heatherlynne has worked with us since 2014. She started out at our front desk and quickly moved up.  In 2016 Heatherlynne became our primary scribe/doctors assistant and was promoted to Clinical Supervisor at the Millbrook location. She is now our Practice Administrator. She also passed her certification and became a Certified Para-Optometric in 2016 and a Certified Para-Optometric Assistant in 2018.She is a graduate of AUM with a degree in Biology, and has past management experience. Heatherlynne enjoys spending time with her husband Joseph,they were married October 2018.She is a huge asset to our practice and we are so glad to have her.
